BPS Assisting JCF With Ronald Raynor Murder Investigation

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the death of Mr. Ronald Raynor and express our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Mr. Raynor was 55 years old; formerly of Pembroke Parish but was residing in Jamaica at the time of his death.

On March 28, 2017 the body of a deceased man was discovered in bushes in Hatfield Meadows, Coral Gardens, St. James, Jamaica and later identified as Mr. Raynor by the Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF).

The circumstances of Mr. Raynor's death are suspicious and the JCF is dealing with the matter as a murder investigation.

The BPS is assisting the Jamaican authorities with their investigation and appeal for witnesses or anybody with information that may assist in the enquiry to contact Detective Superintendent Sean Field-Lament of the Crime Division on 717-0386 or e-mail sfield@bps.bm.

All incidents are under investigation.
