One Man Shot, One Man Stabbed on Woodlands Road [Updated]

Around 2:55am on Monday, June 20th police and first responders were dispatched to a report of a male with gunshot wounds in the Woodlands Road, Pembroke area near DeSilva Close.

On arrival at the scene a 30 year old male shooting victim was located, as‎ well as a 46 year old male stabbing victim.

Both were taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment of their injuries.‎ Their conditions are unknown at this time.

An update on the victims will be given in due course.

It is currently unclear whether the shooting victim and stabbing victim‎ were involved in the same incident or separate incidents.

Police are appealing for witnesses that were in the Woodlands Road area or leaving the nearby function at BAA around 3am Monday to contact Acting Inspector Kenten Trott at the Serious Crime Unit on 717-2345 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477.

Medical Update: The 30 year old male shooting victim has succumbed to his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

No further information regarding the deceased will be given until next of kin have been notified.

The 46 year old‎ male stabbing victim continues to receive treatment for his injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

All incidents are under investigation.
