The Bermuda Police Service would like to welcome Sergeant Wendell Ballantyne of Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Forensic Unit, who has been seconded to the ranks of the Bermuda Police Service, from August 1st 2015 until August 31st, 2015.
Sgt. Ballantyne has over 8 years of experience in the field of forensics and during his time with the BPS he will shadow the Forensic Support Unit, under the guidance of Acting Detective Sergeant. Jewel Alex Hayward.
Sgt. Ballantine’s visit is designed to provide him with an overview of the role of forensic support within the Bermuda Police Service.
The Acting Commissioner of police Paul Wright states: I am happy to welcome Sergeant Wendell Ballantyne to the ranks of the Bermuda Police Service for the next month. I am confident that Sgt. Ballantyne will form some useful practices to take back home and I wish him best in his new post.”
