 At 2:55pm today, police attended an incident that took place at Launderette in the plaza adjacent to The Market Place in Sandys parish. It appears that two individuals entered the premises, made demands of money and escaped with an unknown quantity of cash.
Police have now commenced an investigation into the incident and we are appealing for anyone who may have seen individuals in the area, particularly The Market Place, Dollar Depot area acting suspiciously, to contact police on 295-0011 or the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline 800-8477. |
