Police Motorcycle Collision

Police responded to a report of a road traffic collision that took place a few minutes after 12pm today. It appears that an officer was participating in a training course for Police Motorcyclists, when the officer lost control of his cycle and ended up in the marsh area just east of Barnes’ Corner. The officer was transported via ambulance to the hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening chest injuries. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing. |
All incidents are under investigation.
