The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 52 year old Donald Pimentel.

Mr. Pimentel, an American contract worker, sustained serious injuries when the rental cycle he was riding was involved in a collision with a motorcycle at the junction of Harbour Road and Morgan Road in Warwick around 5:30pm Friday, October 11th.

He was subsequently airlifted overseas for further medical treatment and later succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, October 17th.

The investigation into this fatal collision is ongoing and any witnesses that have not already come forward are encouraged to contact PC Timothy Evelyn at the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1145.

The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Pimentel.
