Reserve Police Welcome Eleven New Officers

During a recent ceremony held at 7:30pm Wednesday, December 12th 2012 in the Prospect Police Recreation Club, the Bermuda Reserve Police inducted eleven new Reserve Constables, promoted four serving Reserve Constables to Sergeant and acknowledged a retiring Reserve Inspector for 25 years of service.

In attendance were Commissioner of Police Michael DeSilva, Assistant Commissioner Paul Wright, Assistant Commissioner Antoine Daniels, Chief Inspector Hashim Estwick as well as Commandant Jerry Robinson, Deputy Commandant Cannoth Roberts, Reserve Superintendent Sandra Robinson and members of the Reserve Police executive. Family, friends and colleagues of those being recognised were also on hand to show their support.

The new Reserve Constables are:

  • 1449 Steven Robinson
  • 1504 Michael Barbosa
  • 1505 Mirela DeSilva
  • 1506 Chinna Francois
  • 1507 Michele Gallagher
  • 1508 Devon Gibbs
  • 1509 Kennia Jones
  • 1512 Calvin Simons
  • 1513 Michael Terceira
  • 1514 Dre Wilkinson
  • 1515 John Outerbridge

In addition, the following Reserve Constables were promoted to Sergeant:

  • 1458 Shavon Taylor
  • 1475 Richard Foulds
  • 1480 Adam Hall
  • 1486 James Celestine

And fittingly, Reserve Inspector 1099 Maurice Ollivierre was recognised by Deputy Commandant Roberts for 25 years of volunteer service to Bermuda. For more information on the Bermuda Reserve Police, please contact 247-1787.
