Update: Ninth Road Fatality for 2012

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 24 year old Malik Weeks who died as a result of a single vehicle road traffic collision that took place on North Shore Road and Old Road in Hamilton Parish.

Inquiries into this fatal collision are ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Sean Hassell of the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011 or 247-1200.

The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Weeks.

The death of Malik Weeks marks the ninth road fatality for 2012.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
