The Bermuda Police Service Serious Crime Unit is investigating a serious assault on and robbery of a 33 year old male. This incident occurred about 12:30am on Wednesday 19th September, 2012 at the Beach Bar & Bistro, located at #103 Front Street.
The victim was socializing with friends when he was set upon by a group of men who assaulted him and robbed him of jewelry around his neck. The victim suffered a fractured jaw on both sides of his face. As a result he underwent surgery to repair the injuries at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
Two men from Pembroke have been arrested by police in relation to this incident.
Detectives would like to speak with anyone that was inside The Beach Bar & Bistro on the night in question and who may have information relating to or seen the actual event.
