Around 10:23pm on Tuesday 22nd May 2012, police responded to a report of gunshots being fired and someone being shot and injured outside a residence on Rambling Lane, Pembroke. Police officers were immediately dispatched to the location to investigate the report. During the initial investigation, police ascertained that one person was seen fleeing from the area, description given as being approximately six feet tall with a slim build. A dark coloured motorcycle was also seen speeding away from the scene around that time. The victim, a 51 year old Devonshire man, received multiple gunshot wounds to his body and is presently being treated at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for his injuries. At this time his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
