Around 7:05pm on Monday, December 19th police responded to a reported robbery at Henry VIII Pantry on South Road in Southampton. It appears that an unknown man entered the premises and brandished what is believed to be a firearm. At the time only staff was present in the store. The culprit took a quantity of cash before reportedly making good his escape with an accomplice who was waiting outside. It is believed that both men fled on foot. No one was injured.
Officers searched the surrounding area for the suspects, with the main suspect described as light skinned, 5’7” – 5’8” tall wearing a hooded jacket. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing.
