Attempted Murder Investigation: Serious Crime Unit Witness Appeal

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing its investigations into a shooting which occurred on Court Street, Pembroke at about 11:28pm on Monday 4th July, 2011.

In this incident, a 26 year old female and 23 year old male - both from Devonshire, received injuries. The female victim’s injuries required surgery and she is recuperating in the Intensive Care Unit at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. The male victim’s injuries were more superficial in nature.

The Serious Crime Unit is conducting a comprehensive investigation into this matter, which is being treated as a case of attempted murder.

All available sources of evidence are being followed.

Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone that may have witnessed this crime, or anyone that has information that will assist the enquiry team.
