Injury RTC in Hamilton Parish

Around 5:45pm on Monday, Police received a report of a serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish in the vicinity of Shelly Bay involving a car, an auxiliary cycle & a motorcycle. It appears that all three vehicles were traveling along North Shore Road when they collided. The auxiliary cycle rider and the motorcycle rider were both injured & taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment. The auxiliary cycle rider, a 17 year old St. George’s man, has potentially life threatening injuries. The male motorcyclist’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Motorists were diverted away from the scene for approximately two hours while traffic collision investigators conducted their inquiries before the road was re-opened. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Romeo Allen on 295-0011. |
All incidents are under investigation.
