Around 9:30pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported serious road traffic collision on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Cobbs Hill Road involving a car and a motorcycle. The Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service also attended the scene. It appears that both vehicles were traveling along Harbour Road when they collided. The rider of the motorcycle, an 18 year old Pembroke man, was seriously injured and rushed to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance. He was subsequently pronounced dead by an on call physician at 10:25pm. Traffic was diverted away from the scene for approximately two hours while further inquiries were conducted before that section of road was re-opened. An investigation into the incident is ongoing and any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011. No further information will be released until the next of kin has been notified.

All incidents are under investigation.
