Serious Injury RTC

Around 10:20am on Friday, Police and first responders attended a reported serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Parsons Road in Pembroke involving a motorcycle and a pedal cycle. Details about the collision remain unclear; however the pedal cyclist, a 60 year old man as well as the motorcycle rider, a 59 year old Devonshire woman were injured and taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment. At last check the 60 year old man was in the Intensive Care Unit while the Devonshire woman was believed to be on a general ward at the hospital. Inquiries into this incident are ongoing. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Ian Taitt on 295-0011. |
