Confirmed Firearm Incident in Pembroke

Around midnight on Saturday, Police responded to a report of gunshots in the Middle Terrace, Pembroke area. A 22 year old Pembroke man subsequently attended King Edward VII Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds to his leg. His injuries are not life threatening; as a result he was treated and released. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
