Confirmed Firearm Incident

A few minutes before 3pm today, a 29 year old Pembroke man checked himself into the hospital with a gun shot wound to his body. Police were alerted and were told the shooting took place in the St. Monica's Mission area. Police presently are in the process of establishing the shooting scene. The 29 year old man's injuries appear to be non-life threatening. There is a heavy police presence currently in the area as officers try to establish the location of the shooting. Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious to contact police on 295-0011. |
All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
