Teenagers Injured in Assault

Around 1:37 this morning, Police received a report that a 16 year old male was dropped off at Port Royal Fire Station with multiple lacerations to his body. This was as a result of an assault that took place at a residence on Tankard Lane in Sandys parish. Details remain sketchy, but it appears that a group of individuals came to the Sandys parish residence and attacked two 16 year old males. One of the 16 year old males was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries while the other suffered a swollen eye. Police are appealing for witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Somerset Criminal Investigation Unit at 234-1010 or the confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.


All incidents are under investigation.
