Man Injured at Riddell's Bay

Police responded to a report of a marine incident at Riddell's Bay docks in Southampton at 5:23pm today. It appears that some youth were diving off of the Riddell's Bay docks when a 19 year old man ran a distance and jumped off of the docks. As a result he struck his head on some rocks. He sustained a deep gash to his forehead, a split nose, a split lip and several lacerations to his upper body. The victim is presently in the Intensive Care Unit at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in stable condition. An investigation into this incident is underway. |
All incidents are under investigation.
