Confirmed Firearm Incident in Devonshire

 Police responded to reports of gunshots being fired in the area of Friswells Hill and Middle Terrace in Devonshire at 10:48pm Wednesday. Upon Police arrival it was ascertained that two men, a 16 year old Pembroke man and a 22 year old Pembroke man, were shot. Both men were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries. Officers from various units are on scene and an investigation into the matter has commenced. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact Police on 295-0011 or the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
