Serious Injury RTC

Around 10:20pm today, Police received a report of a serious road traffic collision resulting in injury on Trimingham Road in Paget involving a truck and a motorcycle. It appears that the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided. As a result the motorcycle rider, a 30 year old Devonshire man, was trapped under the truck and had to be extricated by Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel. He sustained serious head injuries as well as a broken right leg and was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The truck driver was apparently uninjured. Traffic was diverted away from the scene at north & south round-a-bout. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 295-0011.


All incidents are under investigation.
