Armed Robbery in Sandys Parish

Around 8:55pm on Wednesday, Police received a report of a robbery at the Boaz Island Shell gas station in Sandys parish. Details about what occurred are unclear at this time; however it appears that two unknown men entered the gas station, one brandishing what appeared to be a firearm and the other brandishing a bladed article. They stole a quantity of cash before making good their escape. There were no reported injuries. The suspects are described as brown skinned, 5’7” tall of slim build; one wearing a tan coloured long sleeve shirt and red pants, the other wearing all black clothing (including a black long sleeve T-shirt). Both suspects are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
