Around 4:10pm today, Police received a report of a road traffic collision resulting in injury involving a pedestrian and a car on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Aubrey Road. It appears that a 12 year old Hamilton parish boy disembarked a bus in the area and attempted to cross the road when he was struck by a car traveling east on North Shore Road. The 12 year old student received what are believed to be non-life threatening head injuries and abrasions to his body. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to contact PC Stephen Millar on 295-0011. |
All incidents are under investigation.
