1st Quarter 2010 Crime Statistics

The total for all crime in the first quarter of 2010 decreased by -119 offences or -9.13% compared to fourth quarter of 2009. In comparison to the same period last year (first quarter of 2009), the first quarter of 2010 has decreased by -21 offences or by -1.74%. The total for the first quarter of 2010 was 1,185. The long term trend of all crime in Bermuda is stable with the most recent period of the first quarter 2010 the 4th lowest quarterly crime figure since the first quarter of 2000.
