Confirmed Firearm Incident at Western Stars

Around midnight today (Monday) Police responded to a report of an incident that took place on St. John’s Road in Pembroke outside of Western Stars Community Club. It appears that gunmen rode a motorcycle west along St. John’s Road and fired indiscriminately in the direction of the club. As a result, a 16 year old girl and a 39 year old man were taken to KEMH with non life threatening injuries.

We are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Western Stars Community Club around the time of this incident and saw anything suspicious or anyone acting suspiciously to contact Police on 295-0011 or the independent 24 hour confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
