Sudden Death

At 10:35pm on Friday, Police attended what appeared to be a serious single vehicle road traffic collision on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Belvedere Road. Details about the incident are unclear; however, it appears that the rider of a motorcycle, a 26 year old Pembroke man, lost control and collided with a wall. The Pembroke man sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to KEMH via ambulance; however he later died. No further information will be released until the next of kin has been notified.

An investigation into this incident is underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact PC Richard Geraghty on 295-0011.
