Arrests for Firearm Offences

On Tuesday, January 19th 2010 Police arrested a 30 year old Southampton man and a 30 year old Pembroke man in connection with the shooting which wounded a 21 year old Pembroke man in the Pembroke Park Lane/St. John’s Road, Pembroke area around 7:15pm Sunday, January 10th. Inquiries into this matter are ongoing.

Police continue to appeal for any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information to contact the Serious Crime Unit on 299-8115, the independent confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477 or an anonymous tip can be sent via the Crime Stoppers Bermuda website at www.crimestoppers.bm.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
