Around 3:20pm today, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Court Street and Dundonald Street in Pembroke involving a car and a pedestrian. It appears that a car was traveling north along Court Street when the driver, a 52 year old St. George’s woman, turned on to Dundonald Street and collided with the pedestrian, a 60 year old Southampton man, who was attempting to cross Dundonald Street. The victim sustained head and back injuries; however he was conscious at the scene. He was taken to KEMH via ambulance for treatment. The driver of the car was not injured. The car received front end damage. Traffic was diverted away from the scene. Inquiries into this incident are underway. |
All incidents are under investigation.
