Around 3:30pm today, Police were on mobile patrol in the area of Flatts Village in Smith’s parish when they came upon a 19 year old Pembroke man who is a person of interest to the Police. Officers attempted to effect an arrest but the Pembroke man managed to elude them, leading Police on a chase through the surrounding area. This resulted in a number of Police officers from different units converging on the location. The individual was taken into Police custody approximately 20 minutes later. The Bermuda Police Service would like to apologize to the public in the area that may have been inconvenienced as a result of this incident. |
All incidents are under investigation.
