Weekend Firearm Incident/Vehicle Fires on St. Monica’s Road

The Bermuda Police Service is continuing to appeal for witnesses to the firearm incident which occurred around 3:45am Saturday, February 21st and the vehicle fires which occurred around 3:25am Sunday, February 22nd.

Both incidents took place on St. Monica’s Road in Pembroke and both are under active investigation, but have not been formally linked. Police patrols, including officers with armed response capabilities, remain vigilant in and around the St. Monica’s Road area, as well as in various areas around the island.

Police are continuing to encourage anyone with any information regarding the firearm incident or the vehicle fires to contact 299-4244 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 1-800-623-8477.


All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
