Marine Flair Exercise

The Marine Police Unit would like to advise members of the public that they will be conducting a marine flare exercise on Friday 12th December between 11am & 12 noon in the Great Sound (weather permitting). Both hand held red locator flares and red distress parachute flares will be used during the exercise and will be launched from the Police vessel ‘Guardian’.
Bermuda Radio (RCC Bermuda) has also been made aware of this scheduled exercise.

Press Conference Regarding Christmas Crime Prevention & Road Safety
The Bermuda Police Service will hold a press conference tomorrow at 1pm in the Police Media Relations office regarding Christmas crime prevention and road safety advice. Representatives from the Crime Prevention Unit and the Roads Policing Unit will be on hand to address various holiday related issues. All media are encouraged to attend.

Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
