Police continue to seek the arrest of Omari Gordon arising out of a shooting at Police in the early hours of Saturday, November 29th 2008. Information has reached the Police that he is still in hiding in Bermuda and also that he has fled overseas. Investigators remain open minded and although lookouts have been posted internationally, Police continue with inquiries locally.

So far attempts by family, friends and his lawyer to get Mr. Gordon to come forward have failed. There is a strong likelihood that he is being assisted by others.

The suspect is alleged to have committed a serious & reckless act, which put several lives at risk. Police are continuing to actively search for Mr. Gordon and the co-operation of the public is vital to our success.

Anyone helping him should be aware that they may be prosecuted for perverting the course of justice or for being an accessory after the fact, both of which are crimes punishable under the law.
