3rd Road Traffic Death for 2007

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 30 year old Dennis Soares of Paget who died as a result of a serious road traffic collision that occurred around 6:45pm Friday on Middle Road in Devonshire near the junction with Tee Street. It appears that the 30 year old Paget man was riding his motorcycle east on Middle Road when he lost control and collided with a vehicle traveling west. This resulted in Mr. Soares being catapulted into the air and then landing under a car that was also traveling in a westerly direction. The 30 year old Paget man was rushed to KEMH where he was later pronounced dead by an on call physician. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have any information about this collision to contact PC Peter Charlemagne at the Traffic Enforcement Unit on 299-4265. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. |
