Sudden Death - Update

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 28 year old Jahsun Afrika of St. George's. It appears that Mr. Afrika was involved in a basketball game at Mount St. Agnes Academy around 6:15pm on Sunday when he collapsed. The 28 year old St. George's man was rushed to KEMH via ambulance where he was subsequently pronounced dead at 6:40pm by an on call physician. An autopsy is anticipated. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.


Sudden Death - Update

The autopsy of 62 year old David Walker of Pembroke (a U. K. national) has been completed and a report will be forwarded to the Coroner; however, there are no suspicious circumstances. The official cause of death will be released by the Coroner in due course.


All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
