At 5:35 this morning, Police attended a reported single vehicle damage only road traffic collision on Harrington Sound Road in Hamilton parish near the junction with Harrington Hundreds Road. It appears that a Mazda car was traveling east on Harrington Sound Road when the driver, an 18 year old Hamilton parish man, lost control attempting to negotiate a bend in the road. As a result the car went off the road, colliding with a wooden fence and a wall before overturning and ending up over an embankment. The car was extensively damaged. The Hamilton parish man, who was not injured, was subsequently arrested at his nearby home on suspicion of impaired driving. Inquiries into this incident are underway. |
All incidents are under investigation.
