Witness Appeal - Robbery

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a robbery that occurred around 2am Wednesday on Pitts Bay Road in Pembroke, near Barrs Bay Park. The victim, a 53 year old New Jersey man, sustained redness around his left eye and abrasions to his left arm as a result; however, he declined medical treatment. We are especially interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen a taxi traveling along Pitts Bay Road around 2am Wednesday or anyone who may have seen a silver or white Peugeot 206 car make a U-turn on Pitts Bay Road around the time of the incident. Any witnesses or anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.

Witness Appeal – Disturbance
Police are also appealing for witnesses to a disturbance that took place at Colonial Insurance on Reid Street in the City of Hamilton around 4pm Wednesday involving three or four men. The cause of the disturbance is unclear at the moment; however, one of the men involved was taken into Police custody at the scene. Any witnesses to this incident or anyone with any information are encouraged to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
