Death of Che Hollis

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 21 year old Che Hollis of Warwick who died as a result of injuries received in a road traffic collision that took place at 11:55pm on Tuesday night. The collision took place on Cockburn Road in Sandy’s parish where it appears that a car and a cycle that Che Hollis was riding collided, resulting in the 21 year old Warwick man being rushed to KEMH where he remained in the Intensive Care Unit until he was certified dead at 4:48 pm today.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please contact PC Diamond on 234-1010. The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

This is the 11^th road traffic fatality of 2008.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
