Recovered Stolen Jewelry

The Bermuda Police Service has recently recovered a large quantity of jewelry which is suspected of being stolen. The jewelry includes a Rolex watch. We are appealing to any members of the public who may have had jewelry stolen recently to contact the Southside Police Station on 293-2222 so that the items can be identified and returned to their rightful owners.

‘Car Jack’ E-mail

The Bermuda Police Service is aware of an e-mail currently circulating around the island warning against ‘carjacking’ and a particular method criminals are said to use. Though in some cases the e-mail refers to this activity occurring in Bermuda, the e-mail itself almost certainly originated overseas and no incidents of this nature have been reported to the Bermuda Police Service.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
