Fatal RTC

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 29 year old Andrei Holling. Mr. Holling, a German national contract worker, sustained head injuries in a serious road traffic collision on South Road in Warwick around 3:20 this morning, and was pronounced dead by an on-call physician at the scene. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.

The death of Andrei Holling marks the 5th road traffic fatality for 2005.

Sudden Death

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 44 year old Mark Gossman of North Shore Road in Pembroke. Mr. Gossman, a Canadian national, sustained fatal injuries around 8:30pm on Sunday, after he fell while lowering a boom on to a dock 8’ below the North Shore Road, Pembroke residence, landing on the dock. The boom then fell on top of him. Mr. Gossman was pronounced dead at the scene by an on-call physician. The Bermuda Police Service extends its sincere condolences to the family & friends of the deceased.


All incidents are under investigation.
