At 9:50 this morning, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury at the junction of Tee Street and Berry Hill Road in Devonshire involving a car and a motorcycle. It appears that the car (a white Kia Pride) was exiting Tea Rose Lane when it was in collision with the motorcycle (which was overtaking a vehicle) traveling south on Tee Street. As a result, the car’s rear passenger door was damaged, and the motorcycle was extensively damaged. The rider of the motorcycle, a 21 year old Devonshire man, sustained head, chest and facial injuries. He was taken to KEMH for treatment and is currently in stable condition on a general ward. The driver of the car, a 53 year old Devonshire man was not injured. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact PC Keysha Burgess on 295-0011.

Around 11:20am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Middle Road in Southampton near the junction with Camp Hill Road, involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. It appears that the vehicle (a grey Citroen) was traveling east on Middle Road when it was in collision with the pedestrian, who was walking with a group of people along the roadside. It is unclear what injuries, if any, were suffered by the pedestrian, a 44 year old Warwick man; however, the driver of the vehicle, a 35 year old Sandy’s parish man was not injured in the collision. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

At 1:50am on Tuesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Front Street in Pembroke involving an auxiliary cycle and a pedestrian. It appears that the auxiliary cycle was traveling west on Front Street near Hilly’s Bar when the collision occurred with the pedestrian, a Warwick woman, who was crossing the road. The rider of the auxiliary cycle, a 17 year old Sandy’s parish woman, and the pedestrian were taken to KEMH for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Inquiries into this incident are underway.

All incidents are under investigation.
