Second Fatal RTC Victim of 2024 Identified: 40-Year-Old Lionel Thomas Jr.

The Bermuda Police Service (BPS) can now confirm the identity of the victim in the fatal road traffic collision which occurred on St. David’s Road shortly before 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025 as 40-year-old, Lionel Thomas Jr.

The BPS extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

A BPS Family Liaison Officer is providing relevant assistance to his family.

The investigation regarding this incident is ongoing and the BPS is grateful to those persons who have already come forward to assist with inquiries.

However, we are appealing for anyone with any information and who may not yet have reached out, to please contact the Investigating Officer, Police Constable, Walter Jackson of the Roads Policing Unit.
