BPS Vetting Office Re-Opens for In-Person Service

The Bermuda Police Service, (BPS), is pleased to announce that, as of today, Monday 7-June-2021, our Criminal Records / Vetting Office shall be open to in-person service where members of the public can enquire and receive help with criminal records queries and vetting applications including Criminal Records Checks. Our offices are located at:

Dame Lois Brown-Evans Building

58 Court Street, Hamilton (Ground Floor)

Bermuda

Opening hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am to 4:00pm (closed 1:00pm – 2:15pm). Do be reminded that current Covid safety protocols must be adhered to including mask wearing when entering the office, hand sanitizer use and physical distancing.

Members of the public in need of a Criminal Record Check can still submit via our online process. Before you submit, please refer to the application instructions for guidance. Those can be found in our Publications and Forms link at: http://www.bermudapolice.bm/content/publications-forms.

Required documents (1: Fully completed application (SF-39), 2: prescribed supporting documentation and 3: proof of payment) can be scanned and emailed to: vetting@bps.bm. For further assistance, please contact our office at 247-1750.
