Reported Firearm Incident in Hamilton Parish

The Bermuda Police Service yesterday, Thursday 11th February, 2021, received reports that multiple gunshots were fired at a residence in the Harlem Heights area of Hamilton Parish, around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday 10th February, 2021.

However, a subsequent search of the location where the incident is alleged to have occurred, revealed no forensic evidence to confirm the report.

The BPS has heightened patrols in and around Hamilton Parish to provide reassurance to residents of Harlem Heights.

While there was only one report made to police, anyone who may have information on this alleged incident, is asked to call 211, or, the main police number, 295-0011.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
