Update: Seventh Road Fatality For 2011

The Bermuda Police Service can now confirm the death of 27 year old Landro Minors of St. George’s. Around 9:45pm on Tuesday, November 1st Mr. Minors was riding a motorcycle along Middle Road in Smith's parish near the junction with Clarendon Road, in the vicinity of Whitney Institute Middle School, when he was seriously injured after colliding with a wall.

He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance where he was subsequently pronounced dead at 10:15pm by an on call physician. Traffic was diverted away from the scene while collision investigators conducted inquiries. The investigation into this fatal collision is ongoing and any witnesses are encouraged to contact PC Tyrone Fox of the Roads Policing Unit on 247-1788.

The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family & friends of Mr. Minors.

The death of Landro Minors marks the 7th road fatality for 2011.


All incidents are under investigation.
