On Sunday, October 2nd at 10am an inter faith service was held at the Police Recreation Club in Prospect, Devonshire. The event, designed to recognize the diverse religious beliefs of officers and support staff of the Bermuda Police Service, was well attended by police officers, their families and dignitaries such as the Deputy Governor David Arkley, the Premier, the Hon. Paula Cox, Minister of National Security the Hon. Wayne Perinchief, U.S. Consul General Grace Shelton and Chief Justice Richard Ground. Highlights included the Somerset Brigade Band providing musical accompaniment and a performance by the Bermuda Police Service Choir. More photos. |
