Update – Firearm Incidents

Three men are currently in custody assisting Police with their inquiries into the Christmas & Boxing Day shootings.

Officers investigating these matters have received many calls from members of the public offering information regarding the shootings. As a result, several lines of inquiry are being followed up.

While the Bermuda Police Service is pleased with the co-operation of the community so far, we would like to encourage those individuals with relevant information about the Christmas & Boxing Day shootings, particularly eye witnesses to these events, to make an official Police statement.

Anyone who may have any legitimate information regarding the shootings should call 299-4323 or the confidential 24 hour Crime Stoppers Hotline on 1-800-623-8477. Calls made to the Crime Stoppers Hotline are completely anonymous, as the calls are answered in Miami, Florida U.S.A.

All incidents are under investigation. Police are appealing to members of the public who have witnessed these incidents or may have information pertaining to them to contact their respective Police Station, Police Headquarters at 295-0011 or the confidential Crimestoppers Hotline on 1 (800) 623-8477.
