The victim, a 26 year old Pembroke man, stated he was walking west along Pitt’s Bay Road in the area of Smatt’s Cycle Livery when he was assaulted from behind by two men. The victim was struck in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground. As one of the men held him down, the other searched his pockets demanding money. The Pembroke man told the men that he didn’t have any money. The men then made good their escape on foot towards the City of Hamilton. The suspects are described as two black men, both approximately 6’ tall. One was wearing a white scarf across his face. Nothing was taken from the victim during the incident, and he was treated at KEMH for minor injuries.
