Around 5:10pm on Wednesday, Police attended a reported road traffic collision resulting in injury on Somerset Road in Sandy's parish, near the junction with Beacon Hill Road involving a van and a pedestrian.
At 7:40pm on Tuesday, Police attended a reported assault on a Police officer at a Rocky Lane, Hamilton parish residence. The injured officer stated that he was at the home attending to another matter when the complainant (resident) pointed out a group of young men that had been throwing rocks at his windows prior to the officer's arrival.
At 12:30 this morning, Police received a report of a burglary at a Cherry Hill, Pembroke residence. The complainant stated that sometime between 8:30pm and 10pm on Monday, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole $650 in cash. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
Theft
At 10pm on Sunday, Police attended KEMH after a report of a robbery. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, a 35 year old Pembroke man, who works for Four Star Pizza. He stated that around 9:20pm he delivered a pizza to a My Lord's Bay Drive, Hamilton parish residence.
The Bermuda Police Service Fraud Unit would once again like to warn the public about the dangers of giving out personal banking information to people whose identity they cannot confirm. There has recently been an increase in the number of people in Bermuda who have been contacted with various different schemes intended to obtain personal information.
Around 6:40pm on Saturday, Police attended a reported burglary at a Twin Lane Drive, Pembroke residence. On arrival officers spoke with the complainant who stated that sometime between 1:30pm and 3:30pm that day, an unknown culprit gained entry into his home. The culprit stole approximately $30 worth of coins and two gold bracelets. Inquiries into this incident are underway.
